Microsoft Founder Bill Gates continues to be in the headlines for all the wrong reasons.
Multiple reports are now surfacing that Bill Gates allegedly had an affair with one of his employees.
According to the report Microsoft board members received a penned letter from an engineer of the company that alleged Gates and her had a sexual relationship.
Microsoft then immediately launched a probe into the alleged relationship and soon after Gates resigned as board member so he could focus on “philanthropy”.
Was Gates really trying focus on his philanthropy work?
Did he really step down in an attempt to avoid a major allegation and protect his self image.

The New York Post covered the big story:
Bill Gates allegedly had an affair with a Microsoft employee — and the tryst was being probed by the company’s board last year when Gates stepped down, a report said Sunday.
The company’s board became aware in 2019 that a Microsoft engineer penned a letter alleging that she and Gates had a sexual relationship over the years, the Wall Street Journal reported.
The woman demanded changes to her Microsoft job and also asked that Gates’ now-estranged wife Melinda read her letter — though it’s unclear if that happened.
Board members hired a law firm to conduct an investigation into the relationship, the Journal said.
During the probe, some members grew concerned about the allegation and decided that Gates, who founded the tech firm in 1975, should step down as director of the board.
But the billionaire was still re-elected to Microsoft’s board at the annual shareholder meeting, the report said. He resigned before the investigation could be completed, saying he wanted to focus on his philanthropy.
Two “Bills” dominated the 1990s; Bill Clinton and Bill Gates.
I would have never guessed that both had something else in common – womanizing.
Bill Gates is such a nerd, so socially awkward, that I would have never guessed he is also a womanizer; https://t.co/v9OlIbJ59C

The Daily Mail didn’t stay silent and had this to add to the story:
Microsoft founder Bill Gates had an ‘inappropriate’ sexual relationship with a female staff member in 2000, and resigned while an investigation into the relationship was being investigated by the company board.
The affair came to light after the Microsoft employee wrote to the board in 2019 detailing the affair – and allegedly asked that Gates’ estranged wife Melinda Gates, 56, read the letter.
Gates, 65, quit the board suddenly in March 2020 while the investigation was still underway.

The Microsoft board decided that Gates should step down after the relationship was deemed to be ‘inappropriate’, the Wall Street Journal reported.
Gates left the board of Berkshire Hathaway on the same day.
The same day Gates quit Microsoft he also announced he was stepping down from his position with the board of Berkshire Hathaway, run by his friend Warren Buffet.
In a press release the tech mogul said he would continue to serve as a technical adviser to Chief Executive Satya Nadella.
When Bill and Melinda Gates first announced their divorce after 27 years of marriage most of the mainstreams media reaction was “how can this happen?”.
But after learning about Gates multiple meetings with sex offender Jeffery Epstein and now his alleged affair it’s no surprise the tone of the media is turning into “why didn’t the divorce happen sooner?”.
