Joe Biden cannot seem to help himself.
He lies to the American people over and over, and now he’s done it again.
While giving a speech at the SRC Arena in Syracuse, New York, Biden falsely claimed that gas was over $5.00 a gallon when he took office, and that his administration has lowered it to 2.39.
“The most common price of gas in America is $3.39, down from over five dollars when I took office,” proclaimed Biden.
Biden was immediately put on blast by conservatives on Twitter, who called out his blatant lie.
Here is Biden’s false claim about gas prices:

Fox News fact checked Biden’s latest lie:
Several Twitter users attacked these comments as blatant lies, fact-checking both the current national average cost for gas and the cost from Jan. 2021.
Ted Cruz’ communications advisor Steve Guest joked, “Paging all fact checkers — got an easy one for you.”
Columnist Eddie Zipperer wrote, “This a blatant lie from President Biden. The average national gas price when Biden took office was $2.42. The average national gas price today is $3.76.”
“The lies are staggering,” radio host Clay Travis tweeted.

It’s not hyperbole to say Joe Biden is the biggest liar in presidential history. And that’s saying something because they all lie all the time. But he tell these bizarre black and white lies that any idiot can verify. It’s honestly very strange. https://t.co/rfs0gBaFyc

Even the Washington Times called Biden out on this one:
“Today, the most common price of a gas in America is $3.39, down from over $5 when I took office,” Mr. Biden said. “We need to keep making that progress.”
However, the average price per gallon that he inherited in January 2021 was less than half of $5 per gallon — just $2.42, a number that has risen steeply under his tenure.
Fact check false: Joe Biden lies that the price of a gallon of gas was $5 when he took office.

The question remains…
Does Joe Biden even know he’s lying??
How can President Joe Biden continue going before the American people and telling them gas prices are down, inflation is down and wages are up?
These are lies.

Biden just said gas was $5 when he took office.
In reality it was $2.33.
It hit $5 June of this year.
Did Biden lie on purpose or can he really not remember?

Biden said that gas prices were “over $5” when he took office, but the truth is that gas cost only $2.39 when he was sworn in!
This is a blatant lie. Biden refuses to accept blame for his failed policies, which have stifled production & increased costs.
